We would like to provide additional detail surrounding the downtime which occurred on 10/12/2021

What happened?
At 5:55am PST, the CA1 server environment experienced downtime which resulted in QLess applications becoming temporarily inaccessible on the server.
Duration: 8 minutes.

Cause
The root cause was due to the main application daemon not restarting properly after our normal maintenance period.

Remediation
Upon receiving a notification from our Support Team, QLess Platform Engineers restarted the service.

Prevention
QLess is currently working through a project to enhance our monitoring service which will proactively detect situations when our main application does not restart properly.
